This artwork was created for all the dogs living on the streets — the ones we meet every day, the ones who find their way into our hearts, and the ones still waiting for someone to care.

Traveling through Sri Lanka made me realize just how many of them need help. We can’t save them all, but we can start with one. Then another. And another.

Love is a universal language. It doesn’t ask where you come from, what you have, or whether you have a home at all. It simply recognizes another soul — and maybe that’s all we ever really needed to understand.

Profits from this print go directly to the Instagram Account 'Atlas Lives On' a Street Dog project run by my friend Kimberly, who is originally from New Jersey and has now found a home here in beautiful Sri Lanka.

The project was born in memory of Atlas, a street dog with whom Kim shared a very special bond. After Atlas tragically lost her life in a road accident, Kim created Atlas Lives On to let her story live on by helping other dogs in Sri Lanka — providing food, sterilizations, vaccinations and veterinary care.
